Rockaway Home Attendant Services, Inc. is a New York State Licensed Home Care Agency. We provide qualified Home Care Services to those in our communities who meet the Medicaid Eligibility requirements so they can receive the assistance needed in the comfort of their homes.

Rockaway Home Attendant Services, Inc. is committed to providing compassionate home care services to the aged, frail or disabled individuals in the five Boroughs of New York City and Nassau County. We match Certified Home Health Aides/Personal Care Aides with clients that require all levels of services.
The Executive Director, the Director of Field Operations and Patient Services, and the Fiscal Director are working with the clients to ensure that their needs are met regardless of their choice of managed care organizations or Human Resources Administration (HRA) through CASA.

The Nursing Staff
The nursing staff performs the initial assessment for you as assigned and develops a plan of care related to your healthcare needs. Follow-up will be done every three (3) months by a Registered Nurse who will be available to discuss your concerns related to the service of the caregivers. Clients’ satisfaction remains our priority.
The Case Managers
The Case Managers’ goals are to keep our clients satisfied at all times. They assign certified healthcare workers to provide adequate home and personal services to our clients. They monitor the service continually to maintain compliance with the care plan. They work with our clients to keep service authorization active.
The Department of Human Resources
HR staff is responsible for recruiting qualified home care workers to service clients who require home care services to remain independent in their own familiar environments. The Department ensures that all workers who are hired go through screenings including fingerprinting and FBI Clearance. To be in compliance, orientation, and in-service training is given every six months, yearly medical, toxicology screening are mandated in order to maintain their eligibility to continue to work for Rockaway Home Attendant services, Inc.
The Fiscal Team
The Fiscal Department is highly experienced and trained in all areas of Fiscal Operations. This is mostly due to the fact that our retention of Fiscal employees is an average of fourteen years. The Program Director and Assistant Director of Administrative Services periodically review fiscal procedures to ensure a continuous compliance with Managed Care Organizations and Human Resources Administrations’ guidelines by periodically making corrections and implementation of new fiscal procedures, as needed.
